On behalf of all our colleagues, I would like to welcome you to the pages of our clinic.

The Clinic for Forensic Psychiatry and Psychotherapy (Günzburg) is a co-operation clinic of the University Hospital Ulm with external sponsorship. This means that patients are cared for by the clinic's external provider, the Günzburg District Hospital.

Below you will find information about the Clinic for Forensic Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, our treatment mandate and treatment goals as well as our research projects. Students receive information and materials on our courses.

Unlike all other clinics, we not only have a medical mandate, but are also commissioned by the Bavarian State Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Family and Integration to treat and secure addicted or mentally ill offenders so that they do not pose a danger in the future. The responsible organisation is Bezirkskliniken Schwaben. Specialist supervision is carried out by the ZBFS (Bavarian Centre for Family and Social Affairs, Office for the Execution of Measures). We take into account the standards of the German Society for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, Psychosomatics and Neurology (DGPPN).

If you have any further questions or would like to speak to us personally, you will find the relevant contact details on the following web pages.

Yours sincerely

Prof Dr Manuela Dudeck
