Getting socially involved - together with Ulm University Hospital
With the abolition of compulsory military service, civilian service has also been abolished. It has been replaced by the Federal Voluntary Service, or BFD for short. As part of the Federal Volunteer Service, socially committed people are given the same tasks as those in civilian service.
The Federal Volunteer Service (BFD)
Whether you have previous experience or not - your high level of commitment, responsibility, expertise and team spirit will make you a valuable member of our team. You are very welcome to join us!
About the Voluntary Social Year (FSJ): We also employ FSJ volunteers at our hospital, but in this case, registration does not go through the hospital administration. If you would prefer to do a FSJ instead of a BFD, please contact the Internationaler Bund e.V. - Freiwilligendienste Ulm.
Your start with us as part of the Federal Voluntary Service
Since 1 July 2011, Ulm University Hospital has been offering the Federal Voluntary Service in the following areas:
- Nursing
(includes activities on the wards, in the area of patient transport or in the operating theatres) - Other areas
(includes activities in the laboratory, in the maintenance department, in medical technology and in IT)
If you have any questions, please contact Mrs Zuck from the payroll department on 0731 500-68860.
