Visit
If you would like to visit your relatives, a short personal consultation with the treating therapist will take place beforehand. Please make an appointment by telephone beforehand. You can find the telephone numbers of the respective wards here. It is often convenient for relatives to choose an appointment that is followed by a visit so that you do not have to travel several times. Please be sure to bring your valid identity card or passport to the initial appointment.
Depending on the initial level of your relative, the visit will either take place in one of our visiting rooms, on the grounds of Günzburg District Hospital or outside. If the level of relaxation is appropriate, the patient can also visit you.
Wards 1 to 4 are located on the grounds of Günzburg District Hospital in House 58. The postal address of all the buildings of the district hospital is Lindenallee 2.
The map of the Günzburg district hospital provides an overview of the buildings.

Self-help for relatives
Being placed in a forensic psychiatric clinic and the reasons for this are often a burden not only for the patients themselves but also for their relatives.
The Initiative Forensik (available at bapk.de, keyword Forensik) can be a point of contact for you when it comes to information about forensic psychiatric hospitalisation, sharing experiences and adventures as a relative or arranging contacts with other relatives or self-help groups for relatives.
The brochure "Guide for relatives of forensic patients" is available from us for the relatives of our patients.
