In addition to our clinics and centres, research is primarily carried out in the institutes - the focus is, for example, on diseases associated with advancing age and traumatology.
Ulm University Hospital consists of 29 clinics and 15 institutes. This means that we not only cover many clinical specialisms, but are also an important location for medical research and teaching.
In order to optimise cooperation, our clinics and institutes are networked in centre structures so that interdisciplinary work can be implemented effectively.

The University Hospital and the University work closely together in many areas - which is why the main areas of research, e.g. trauma or ageing research, are characterised by common goals and cooperative work.

The Continuing Education Unit offers a wide range of events and seminars for the continuing education and training of all professional groups.
