Administration is a central organisation of Ulm University Hospital and consists of three areas: Human Resources, Infrastructure and Finance/Controlling. You can find more information here. The Centre for Information and Communication (ZIK for short) at Ulm University Hospital is the central unit for information technology at the hospital. It is responsible for the IT infrastructure, networks, IT applications and in-house developments. In addition to our overarching hospital information system, the teams look after numerous hospital-specific applications.

Behind the scenes - working together for Ulm University Hospital

Ulm University Hospital employs more than 5,700 people - from medical staff and nursing staff to administrative staff and employees of the Faculty of Medicine. We need your support and commitment to ensure that our business processes run smoothly and that our employees receive the best possible support. The central facilities of Ulm University Hospital include the administration and the Centre for Information and Communication. There are also staff units that are responsible for special topics, e.g. further education and training, quality and risk management or operating theatre management.
