Prof. Dr Dr Schramm has been the Medical Director of the Clinic for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Centre for Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Ulm University Hospital on the Oberer Eselsberg since 1 March 2015. He has been Head of the Clinic and Polyclinic for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Bundeswehr Hospital in Ulm since 1 October 2007.
The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery sees itself as a specialised field of surgery specifically for the head and facial area. As the face plays a central role in a person's communication and social contacts, the department endeavours to offer patients treatment that is individually tailored to their personal situation.
