Welcome to the website of the Department of Internal Medicine I. Our clinic covers a wide range of specialities and treatment options. We treat patients with digestive diseases (gastroenterology), kidney diseases (nephrology) and diseases of the glands (endocrinology and metabolism).
Our aim is to provide you, the patient, with advice and support in all aspects of prevention, examination and treatment. For us, a trusting relationship, mutual understanding and good counselling are the basis for successful treatment.
As a patient, you will receive state-of-the-art treatment from us. This is not least because, as a university institution, employees of the clinic are active in many areas with their own research projects and studies in order to further improve examination and treatment options.
