Breast Centre

Benign or malignant changes in the breast affect many women (and a few men) in Germany. One in ten women will develop breast cancer in the course of her life. In order to offer our patients the best possible care in line with the latest research, we established an interdisciplinary breast centre years ago, bringing together all the important facilities under one roof. In order to do justice to the complexity of breast cancer, in addition to breast diagnostics and breast surgery, our breast centre includes drug therapy with a study centre, genetic counselling options and intensive interdisciplinary collaboration with the departments of radiology, nuclear medicine, radiotherapy, pathology, medical oncology and psycho-oncology. We have also established a network of help and counselling for our patients and work closely with the women's self-help organisation for cancer, among others.

The quality of our work at the Breast Centre is constantly reviewed and optimised through continuous exchange with other centres and adaptation to internationally recognised guidelines.

We would like to use our many years of experience in the fields of breast surgery and drug-based tumour therapy together with the expertise of other specialists to provide you with the best possible treatment. It is important to us to see and treat not only the disease, but also you as a person with all the fears that this disease can bring with it.
