Study centre of the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine at Ulm University Hospital
Clinical research is an important part of our clinic.
The study centre was founded to support our researchers in the planning, implementation and evaluation of clinical studies.
As a study centre, we ensure that studies are carried out in accordance with international Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and the relevant laws (AMG + MPDG) and recommendations.
Range of services
The Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine supervises a large number of clinical studies. These include observational studies (observational studies) as well as interventional studies, which are conducted as independent IIT (investigator initiated trials) or via participation in multi-centre studies.
The tasks of the study centre are
- Help with study preparation, administration of study documents, checking qualifications
- Support with ethics notification
- Support with conceptualisation, case number planning, preparation of patient information, information and consent forms
- Support with implementation (CRFs, patient visits, sending samples ... )
- Organisation of training courses
