The patient is at the centre of our work
Our quality standard is to provide the best possible patient care, taking into account the latest scientific findings, while at the same time acting economically. The continuous development of an internal quality and risk management system serves to ensure the quality of our medical care.
Employee-orientation
We organise our quality and risk management as a management task involving all employees and see the training and further education of qualified employees as an essential task of structured personnel development. The Academy for Healthcare Professions as the central educational institution of the University Hospital and the in-house further training of nursing staff set standards by offering innovative and needs-orientated training courses.
Tasks of quality and risk management
In addition to shaping quality policy, quality planning and quality control, quality assurance and shaping the risk strategy for the benefit of patient safety are also part of the remit of quality and risk management. We also focus on the further development of QM systems in accordance with internationally recognised standards. The achievement of our excellent quality standards is confirmed by the certification and accreditation organisations.
