Depending on the type of misalignment of your teeth, various treatment techniques can be considered:

For more extensive tooth movements, fixed braces are the most effective method of correction. These are available with metal brackets, which have a relatively delicate design but are visible from the outside. Ceramic brackets are more aesthetically pleasing as they are less noticeable on the tooth due to their light colour.

With fixed techniques, there is even an "invisible" variant (so-called lingual appliance), which is attached to the inside of the teeth so that it is no longer visible from the outside.

If your teeth only need to be moved to a small extent, transparent aligners (so-called aligners) can also be used for correction. This form of therapy is particularly popular with our adult patients, as the appliances are not perceived as disturbing and are still barely visible Aligner therapy.

For both invisible methods (i.e. for a lingual appliance or aligner), as well as for treatments for adult patients in general, statutory health insurance companies do not usually cover the costs.

During a consultation at our clinic, we will discuss with you exactly which technique and which variant is the best and most comfortable for you.
