BMS (Biomechanical Stimulation Therapy)

In contrast to connective tissue massage or lymphatic drainage techniques, BMS therapy uses mechanical vibrations along the length of the treated organ structure to mobilise the connective tissue, muscles and joints.

The vibration used in a frequency range between 18-33 Hz leads to relaxation in the stretchable structures and thus to an improvement in mobility and blood circulation.

The various therapeutically desired results are achieved through the adjustable frequency ranges.
At a frequency of 18 Hz and above, the connective tissue and the underlying muscles are heated, resulting in an oedema-mobilising effect.
In the frequency range from 23 Hz, muscle and joint structures can be optimally stretched.
At 33 Hz, an analgesic effect lasting several hours was observed.
