The emergency department has two shock rooms, eight examination and treatment cubicles with monitor monitoring, eleven monitor-monitored treatment beds as well as operating theatres and a plaster room.
The internal control centre provides an overview of all patients requiring care. The vital signs of all patients can also be monitored centrally and particularly critical areas can be viewed using cameras.
In ZINA's patient data management system, the urgency of care is colour-coded and the entire care process is documented electronically. Important laboratory and examination results are immediately available without delay.
