Dear ladies and gentlemen, dear patients
On these pages we would like to inform you about us and our clinic.
We offer you a wide range of modern urological treatments and are your point of contact for all urological diseases.
Our aim is to treat you in a friendly manner and to listen to you. With our specific expertise, we aim to provide you with the best possible treatment, always taking into account the latest scientific findings and your individual situation. In doing so, we seek close dialogue with your urologists in private practice. Other specialist disciplines at the University Hospital will also be involved in the diagnosis and your treatment if necessary.
The Department of Urology and Paediatric Urology treats over 3,000 inpatients and around 7,000 patients in the University Urology Outpatient Clinic every year. Our medical focus is on the surgical and medical treatment of cancers of the urogenital tract (prostate, bladder, kidney, testicular and penile cancer). We use the latest technologies, such as minimally invasive robot-assisted surgery with the DaVinci® system. We offer a high standard of quality and are closely integrated into the structure of the interdisciplinary tumour centre(Comprehensive Cancer Center Ulm, CCCU). We are certified by the German Cancer Society as a uro-oncology centre specialising in prostate, bladder and kidney cancer.
We also offer a high level of expertise and the latest technologies in the minimally invasive treatment of urinary stones, benign prostate enlargement, neuro-urological dysfunctions and all complex urological diseases in children.
Transparency and high quality are very important to us in patient care. The number of operations carried out and our treatment results are regularly disclosed and reviewed by audits of the certification commissions, the specialist association and the Quality Medicine Initiative (IQM).
We are happy to be there for you.
Yours sincerely,
Prof Dr Christian Bolenz on behalf of all our employees
