Foot surgery
Foot surgery has become increasingly important in recent decades, supported by the introduction of corresponding certification. Functional, post-traumatic and painful changes can be corrected while preserving the anatomical structures, and late damage should be avoided through early corrections.
As a supra-regional centre for trauma surgery and orthopaedics, we offer all common and modern surgical procedures for foot surgery:
- Accident-related injuries to the foot
- Correction of accident-related and degenerative foot deformities
- Correction of congenital deformities
- Hammer toes and claw toes
- Hallux valgus and hallux rigidus
- Denervation (elimination of pain nerves) for osteoarthritis of the ankle joint
- Arthrodesis (fusion) of the joints of the foot and ankle
- Arthroscopic operations on the ankle joint
- Endoprosthetic joint replacement for osteoarthritis
- Acute and chronic ligament instabilities of the ankle joint
- Tendon surgery and replacement operations
- Acute and chronic Achilles tendon injuries/diseases
- Nerve constriction syndromes (tarsal tunnel) and Morton's neuroma
- Haglund's exostosis, heel spur
- rheumatic foot deformities
- diabetic foot
- Unguis incarnatus and nail malgrowth
Depending on the type of procedure and the individual situation of the patient, we plan it under inpatient conditions or in our modern outpatient surgery centre (AOZ).
