Since the beginning of 2020, the German Sarcoma Foundation has been the successor to the association Das Lebenshaus e.V. Sarkome/GIST, which was founded in 2003. The foundation is a real "join-in organisation" in which patients and sarcoma experts fight sarcoma together and with commitment! The non-profit organisation is dedicated to urgently needed sarcoma research, which has so far received too little funding, campaigns for better quality of care/treatment and directly supports sarcoma/GIST sufferers. So that more patients in Germany with a diagnosis of sarcoma/GIST survive or live longer and with a better quality of life!

The Sarcoma Centre Ulm has been involved in the German sarcoma scene for many years and is closely associated with the German Sarcoma Foundation and its patient section.
