Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy is a branch of modern medicine.
Its primary task is to relearn, optimise and train the functions of the musculoskeletal system and the cardiovascular system. To this end, we have methods at our disposal for clarification, treatment, prophylaxis and counselling.
Taking into account the personal goals and individual lifestyle of each patient and in close co-operation with other professional groups, e.g. doctors, nursing staff, social workers, etc., we work together to achieve the greatest possible independence and reintegration into everyday life.

The profession of physiotherapist requires a balance of methodological, technical and social skills. In addition to sound medical and therapeutic expertise, good intuition and communication skills are an important prerequisite.
As Ulm University Hospital, we are an important building block in physiotherapy training.
Internships
In close cooperation with the Ulm-Kolleg, a state-recognised vocational school for physiotherapy, we offer internships to physiotherapy trainees and students. These internships are completed as part of the basic training for physiotherapists and bachelor's degrees.
The interns are supervised professionally and didactically by qualified physiotherapists.
