Blastocyst transfer

If more than 5 embryos are created, a so-called prolonged embryo culture can take place. The embryo transfer only takes place 5 days after egg retrieval. By pre-selecting the embryos with the best chances of development, a blastocyst transfer can increase the chances of implantation after embryo transfer and therefore the success rate. However, this does not apply to all couples and will be discussed with you in a personal consultation.

The costs of blastocyst transfer are not covered by health insurance.
