Cardiac surgery
About us
The clinic treats patients with congenital and acquired diseases of the heart and the large blood vessels in the chest and neck area. In addition to bypass operations for the treatment of coronary artery calcification, the clinic also offers state-of-the-art interventions on the heart valves and the aorta. The clinic favours gentle surgical procedures, where possible through small incisions or using the principle of keyhole surgery. The experienced team of cardiac surgeons also performs catheter-assisted operations with its cooperation partners in cardiology. We are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for all adult cardiac surgery emergencies.
As a university centre, we offer you the opportunity to participate in studies. You can find out about current studies and our scientific publications under Research / Clinical studies.
