Information about the dual study programme
- Theoretical and practical phases alternate. During the theoretical phases, you will attend lectures at the respective Cooperative State University (DHBW). The practical phases at Ulm University Hospital teach practical content and take place in various departments.
- The regular alternation between theory and practice makes the three-year degree programme varied and diverse. The intensive study programme requires commitment and efficient time management.
- All DHBW degree programmes have been successfully accredited by the Central Evaluation and Accreditation Agency (ZEvA) and awarded 210 ECTS points as intensive degree programmes. This allows you to take up a postgraduate or Master's degree programme in Germany or abroad.
- During the programme, you will complete two written projects and a Bachelor's thesis at the end.
The following requirements apply for studying at the Cooperative State University:
- You have a general higher education entrance qualification or a subject-specific higher education entrance qualification corresponding to the faculty.
- Admission is also possible with a previous qualification recognised as equivalent (admission of particularly qualified professionals).
- Applicants with an entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences may be admitted to the programme if they have proven their particular aptitude for studying at a Cooperative State University in individual cases.
- Conclusion of a study and training contract with a company authorised by the Cooperative State University or a social institution such as Ulm University Hospital.
