The Neuroradiology Section was founded within the Clinic for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology in order to meet the rapidly increasing demand for neuroradiological examinations and interventions, which has arisen in particular as a result of the establishment of the Ulm Clinic of the University Clinic for Neurosurgery in Günzburg.
Since October 2007, the management of the Neuroradiology Section has been transferred to Prof. Dr Bernd Schmitz, Senior Physician at the Clinic for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, to which the site at Günzburg District Hospital has also belonged since June 2008.
The entire state-of-the-art equipment of the Clinic for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology and the two other sites is available for the examinations and interventions of the Neuroradiology Section. We carry out the entire spectrum of neuroradiological examinations and interventions.
In the following we would like to give you an overview of the neuroradiological examination spectrum including some interesting neuroradiological examinations.
