Please register at our outpatient clinic office. There you will be given an appointment for a detailed outpatient diagnosis and counselling. At this appointment, we will clarify whether (and if so, which) therapy is suitable for you. This can be an outpatient therapy - usually in a private practice - or a day clinic or inpatient therapy at our centre.

Information for the patient
A referral slip (e.g. from your GP) is required for an appointment at the outpatient clinic for patients with statutory health insurance. Private patients and self-pay patients fill out a corresponding declaration of assumption of costs in advance.
If you are suffering from an organic condition, a one-off consultation with your family doctor or the relevant specialist (e.g. internist, neurologist, ENT specialist) is essential.
Please allow sufficient time for your outpatient appointment, you should allow at least 2 hours.

Where you can find us
The Clinic for Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy is located at Albert-Einstein-Allee 23, 89081 Ulm.
Due to construction work next to the Psychosomatic Clinic, the usual access routes have been changed. The best way to reach the Psychosomatic Clinic is currently via the main entrance Surgery/Internal Medicine as shown on the site plan.
By bus or tram You can reach the University Hospital by tram line 2 or by bus lines 5 and 15. Please use the stop "Kliniken Wissenschaftsstadt".
You will findparking spaces in the Mitte multi-storey car park (€1/hour) in Albert-Einstein Allee or from 6 p.m. in James-Franck-Ring, near the Botanical Gardens (free of charge).

Follow the signs "C Universitätsklinikum" to the main entrance across the large open space. The main entrance is located at the end of the open area on the right-hand side. At the entrance, turn left past the Infopoint in the direction of "Innere Medizin". Now follow the signs in the direction of "Psychosomatics", these are highlighted in light grey.
Option with stairs At the next atrium, take the red stairs down one level to level 1. At the bottom, keep left and then left again along the atrium until you reach the next corner ("Level 1, lifts C/Emergency admission"). Here you leave the atrium to the right, walk past the lifts and enter the waiting area of the emergency department. Turn left to exit the building. Leave the building, cross the courtyard and walk directly towards the "Clinic for Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy".
Variant with lift Turn right at the next atrium before the red staircase and then left along the atrium in the direction of "Notaufnahme/.../Bettenhaus/Stationen" until you reach the lifts C. Go down one floor to level E1. Here, turn left to the emergency department waiting area and then left again to the exit of the building. Leave the building, cross the courtyard and walk directly to the "Clinic for Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy".
