Psychopathology and Progression Research Group

Psychopathology is one of the fundamental disciplines of psychiatry and psychopathology.

Our working group takes up a long tradition of psychopathological research. Current problems of psychiatric diagnostics are analysed from a historical and conceptual perspective. Our current focus of interest is the course of schizophrenic psychoses, which is analysed in a follow-up study using modern instruments. Quantitative-statistical analyses are combined with a casuistic approach. In addition, the working group is involved in multicentre therapy studies.
