The Clinical Dermatology Laboratories have implemented a quality management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 15189 and are accredited in accordance with this standard:
The processing times depend on the individual requirements and are specified in the respective regulations.
Serum samples for allergy diagnostics: 3 months

- Serum samples for the diagnosis of lues: 4 weeks
- Culture media until release of findings
In some cases, the laboratory forwards sample material to external laboratories:
- Sending materials to external laboratories as supplementary diagnostics
- Sending parameters that are not determined in our laboratory,
- Checking the species determination of rarely occurring dermatophytes or yeasts from a reference laboratory
The reference laboratories are available on request.
The laboratory selects the external laboratories according to defined qualification criteria and regularly checks their quality with regard to their accreditation for the submitted parameters, their interlaboratory test certificates for the submitted parameters and their documentation for method validation and method implementation.
The confidentiality and secrecy of all personal data and findings processed in the laboratory is guaranteed in a structured manner.
