The Central Ultrasound Centre at Ulm University Hospital regularly offers basic, advanced and further training courses for doctors. Two to three times a year, basic ultrasound courses for doctors are offered at the Ultrasound Centre in cooperation with the Bundeswehrkrankenhaus Ulm (BWK). These courses are certified by the German Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (DEGUM). Due to the high level of expertise of the head of the Ultrasound Centre (Prof. Dr. W. Kratzer), Ulm University Hospital is one of the few DEGUM-II examination centres in Germany.
