Lung MRI

Lung imaging by MRI is in particular difficult due to low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) caused by low proton density and rapid signal decay, and by cardiac and respiratory motion. In this context, we develop new methods for:
- self gating methods to track respiratory movements, correct motion artifacts and improve image quality
functional imaging of the lung, with and without contrast agent
